We are a small, but growing educational publisher. Since our start in April of 2005, we have sold books to educators, in over 35 states across America.

About the Author: Lisa Buchholz

Like so many teachers, Lisa has always loved to create fun, interesting, and effective materials for her students’ use. After years of writing for a well-known educational publisher, Lisa decided that her work would be more effectively shared with fellow educators through her own publishing company where her “out of the box” thinking and higher expectations for students would not get “edited out”.

About the 'Green Monster Learning" Name

If you are wondering where the “Green Monster Learning” name came from… Lisa begins each new school year by asking her students if they were nervous before coming to school and if they had been worried that their new teacher would turn out to be a “big, green, ugly monster”. This “big, green, ugly monster” has become Lisa’s “identity” among her students. They affectionately call her this name (at times to the horror of their uninformed parents). Her students often hear comments from their teacher like, “Big, green, ugly monsters need lots of attention… please put all eyes on me!” It is with the same enthusiasm and love of teaching that we create materials for GREEN MONSTER LEARNING!
